Jam it in

We finished off 2012 with our first rail jam of the season. As rail jams go, I'm not really a massive fan of paying money to throw myself toward a massive metal bar but for others it seems like the perfect way to spend a Saturday evening! Turns out, most of the riders over on these shores are really quite good at it, which made for some seriously impressive spectating for a humble rail-phobic such as myself!

So, on a Saturday night just before New Year's Eve we watched nearly 50 riders compete to throw out the best tricks they could muster. It was a a clear night so the crowd who came up to support the competitors had a cracking view, and it also made for some awesome footage in the video from 'Black Rainbow Pictures' which you can  view below...

We had categories for both Male and Female skiers and boarders and it was open to all. We had a whole bunch of prizes from our sponsors The Village Rider Boardshop and One T Apparel so everyone was all steezed up while they waited on the results which are as follows...
